Service Scope
Burghley AI Services audits how your engineering team actually uses AI coding tools - Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, and others - day to day. We review recent pull requests, codebases, and AI usage patterns across your team, then deliver an audit report and an internal AI usage policy or code of conduct tailored to how your team works.

Clients are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the audit report and code of conduct we deliver for internal purposes within their organization. Any reproduction, resale, or redistribution of our proprietary audit methodology or report templates outside the client organization is strictly prohibited under these terms.
Liability Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- A.Burghley AI Services shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the client's own decisions or actions taken in response to our audit findings or recommendations.
- B.Our audit report and any accompanying code of conduct reflect a point-in-time review of the client's AI usage practices and do not constitute a guarantee of the client's ongoing compliance with its internal policy following the conclusion of the engagement.
- C.Total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the fees paid by the client during the 12 months preceding the incident.
Governance Standards
Data Integrity
Pull requests, codebases, and usage logs shared with us for the purpose of an audit are handled under strict confidentiality, encrypted at rest and in transit, and retained only for as long as needed to complete the engagement and deliver the report.
Ethical Neutrality
Our audit findings are objective and evidence-based, drawn directly from the pull requests, codebases, and usage patterns we review, free from vendor bias toward any particular AI coding tool.
Jurisdictional Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Intellectual Property
Proprietary Audit Methodology
Burghley AI Services reserves all rights to its intellectual property, including our proprietary review process, report templates, and the 'PR-to-Policy' audit methodology used to assess AI usage and produce codes of conduct.
Termination
Termination of services requires a 30-day notice, after which all access keys will be decommissioned and audit engagement records archived for compliance verification.
